What a customer authorises when starting a website scan.
This is a technically complete surface for approved content, but the current text is an operational draft, not legal advice. Do not use it for public paid sales until entity details are completed and formally approved.

Required authority
You must own the target website or have explicit authority to scan it. You are responsible for the scan scope and URLs you submit.

Scanner activity
- Open authorised public HTTP/HTTPS pages in Chromium.
- Read rendered structure, metadata, in-scope links and visible errors.
- Capture mobile and desktop screenshots according to scan configuration.
- Apply page, time, request and retention limits.

What a public scan does not do
- It does not bypass authentication or request customer credentials.
- It does not upload files, execute purchases or submit ordinary forms.
- It grants no repository access and makes no website changes.
